Face Foundrié has set an ambitious goal to achieve 100 operational locations by the close of 2026, a significant achievement that founder Michele Henry views as the pivotal moment when the facial bar model truly establishes itself as a major national brand with widespread recognition and presence.
Focusing primarily on facials, eyebrow services, lash treatments, and comprehensive skincare solutions, this rapidly expanding chain is gearing up for a robust rollout, including 35 new site openings on the horizon. Wrapping up 2025 with 67 active locations and a total of 175 franchise licenses sold and firmly committed, Face Foundrié, which was established by Henry back in 2019, stands out as one of the quickest-growing facial service providers across the United States, based on insights from industry analysts at Kline + Co. This respected market research organization reports that revenues for the leading 25 multi-location skincare and wellness service operators increased by approximately 9% over the past year, with expectations for around 10% growth in the current year. Among its rivals are Glowbar, boasting over 20 sites, Skin Pharm with more than a dozen clinics in operation, and Heyday, which manages about 20 studios nationwide.
Henry emphasizes that reaching 100 open locations in the franchising world signifies a crucial benchmark. “It demonstrates solid national brand recognition, proven operational expertise, and the capacity for sustained scaling. Moreover, it reassures potential franchise owners, property owners, and key business allies that the company has developed a robust and reliable foundation,” she explains.
The current year's aggressive expansion builds directly on the previous year's efforts to fortify the essential infrastructure required to sustain a much larger franchise system. Key appointments included CFO Kristina Arnette, director of shops and operations Mandy Friendshuh, and director of franchise marketing Emily DeMarco. Henry attributes much of the company's forward momentum to these strategic hires.
“The focus in 2025 was squarely on building infrastructure. We constructed the operational framework necessary for enduring scalability. This involved fine-tuning our internal processes, bolstering support mechanisms for franchisees, improving training programs, and elevating leadership capabilities throughout various departments,” Henry states. “Our investments in top-tier personnel across finance, operations, marketing, and franchise development have fundamentally shifted our business path. We prioritized assembling a leadership team capable not just of execution but also of driving innovation.”
Looking forward, Face Foundrié anticipates that its systemwide revenues will double in 2026 relative to the previous year. This impressive growth is expected to stem from a combination of fresh unit launches, upticks in sales at existing stores, broader membership adoption, and fresh innovations in both service menus and retail product lines.
The chain's signature 40-minute facials generally begin at prices ranging from $75 to $89, while membership plans start at roughly $89 monthly, typically including one facial session along with discounts on additional services and skincare products. Among the most popular offerings is the 40-minute Glow facial. “This treatment provides a perfect blend of relaxation and tangible, visible improvements, leaving the skin with a fresh, dewy glow,” notes Henry.
Strategic Geographic Expansion and Market Planning
Face Foundrié employs a meticulously planned approach to its geographic growth. The company has labeled several key markets as “sold out,” indicating that it has already assigned the maximum number of franchise territories those areas can viably accommodate without risking oversaturation. It first entered the scene in Edina, Minnesota, establishing an initial stronghold in the Midwest region before initiating its franchising program in 2021 and subsequently broadening its footprint across the country.
To decide on territory boundaries, the company conducts detailed analyses of where its primary customers reside, work, and frequent for shopping, with the goal of fostering “healthy shared markets rather than overcrowded ones,” as Henry describes it. These choices factor in comprehensive demographic profiles, population densities, spending habits, and proximity to prime retail zones, ensuring new sites open in areas where the ideal clientele is already established. While timelines can fluctuate, the quickest Face Foundrié opening was achieved in just four months. Typically, it takes between nine and 11 months from signing the franchise agreement to grand opening, influenced by construction schedules and local regulatory approvals.
“Our nationwide expansion is guided by utmost intention and precision,” Henry asserts. “The term ‘sold out’ isn’t about a static quota; it’s derived from sophisticated demographic projections, consumer concentration levels, commuting behaviors, and a commitment to preventing market overload.”
Selective Franchisee Selection and Investment Details
Face Foundrié maintains rigorous standards when choosing franchise partners. According to Henry, the most effective operators are those who deeply resonate with the brand’s core values and dedicate themselves to cultivating strong community ties. The total investment required to launch a Face Foundrié site falls between $255,000 and $563,000. “This opportunity demands active involvement, not a hands-off approach,” she clarifies. “We seek operators who are deeply engaged, focused on building relationships, and eager to work collaboratively within our established framework.”
Menu Innovations and Service Consistency
The company has recently broadened its array of treatments. In August 2025, it introduced the Acne Agent facial program in collaboration with Face Reality Skincare, rolling it out across 58 locations. This 50-minute session incorporates an enzyme mask, thorough extractions, and a chemical peel, delivering professional-grade acne management in an accessible manner. Although local preferences may vary slightly by region, Face Foundrié’s foundational services deliver reliable performance nationwide, thanks to a clear and compelling value proposition: effective, results-oriented skincare presented in a welcoming, user-friendly style.
“In franchising, 100 open locations is a meaningful milestone. It represents national brand credibility, operational maturity and scalability,” Henry reiterates.
Henry highlights how the alliance with Face Reality bolsters Face Foundrié’s reputation and expands its capacity to cater to clients prioritizing measurable outcomes. “This partnership has elevated our treatment customization options and boosted retail sales through complementary at-home skincare routines. Above all, it empowers us to better serve customers who are intensely focused on achieving specific results,” she adds.
Membership Growth and Retention Strategies
Memberships form a cornerstone of Face Foundrié’s revenue model. Henry shares that the company has observed a 30% increase in membership duration since implementing upgraded perks and loyalty programs. “Client retention stands as one of our most vital metrics of success,” she remarks. “We pour significant resources into consistently exceeding expectations and delighting our members, which in turn fosters exceptional loyalty and maximizes long-term customer value.”
Communication, Adaptability, and Future Metrics
As the network grows, Face Foundrié places high emphasis on seamless communication across its expanding franchise base. “Scaling demands unwavering focus on clear dialogue and flexibility,” says Henry. “Every market presents unique dynamics, making it essential to actively heed feedback from both customers and franchise operators while upholding consistent brand integrity.”
For 2026, Henry indicates that triumph will extend beyond mere location counts. “True success encompasses robust sales growth at established stores, superior membership retention rates, flourishing franchise partnerships, and a brand perception that remains welcoming and approachable to all,” she outlines.
Henry underscores that Face Foundrié will adhere steadfastly to its foundational principles amid this expansion: an unyielding commitment to client satisfaction, strategic investments in exceptional talent, and a vibrant culture of continuous innovation. “Our core mission endures unchanged: empowering individuals to build greater confidence via expert services, premium skincare, and valuable educational resources,” she concludes.
